Legal
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used by Legal Kairos. Cookies are small text files stored in your browser to make the platform work reliably and securely.
1. Essential cookies
Used for authentication, session management and security (e.g. CSRF protection, lockout tracking). These are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled.
2. Functional cookies
Remember your preferences such as sidebar state, theme and last-visited module. Disabling these may reduce usability but the platform still works.
3. Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate usage counters (page views, feature usage). No third-party ad or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
4. Local storage
We use browser localStorage to keep you signed in via a secure session token, cache your profile and plan for a smoother experience, and store draft AI prompts before submission. Clearing local storage will sign you out.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in.
